Posted on 29 june 2022 by Ritesh kumar

  • I love to watch movie and tv series. Here is my Best 25 TV series of all time in Engligh language without anime series:-

  • Game of Thrones

    1.Game of Thrones

Every now and then a particular show or movie comes and grabs the attention of the masses. Game of Thrones is one of those shows if not the show that had me intrigued about what television as a medium could offer and challenge viewers expectations. The show aired from 2011 to 2019 and ran for 8 seasons on HBO and has given us some of the most spectacular moments that even most of the mainstream movies fail to do from shocking twists, epic battles to gruesome deaths. The show has elevated television as a medium to a whole new level and is in the same level as movies or even better. It is based on a book series called "A Song of Ice and Fire" written by George R.R. Martin and is adapted and developed by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for the series. Both the books and the show focuses on two important themes of the story that is family and power

  • Breaking Bad

    2.Breaking Bad

I've watched so many series's but no Series can give me the Thrill, Joy and Fun like Breaking Bad ❤️ The character development of Walter H White, being a High School Chemistry teacher to the Drug lord HEISENBERG 🔥 and a careless student JESSÉ PÌNKMÅN transforms from a low level street drug dealer to claiming strength almost as Heisenberg. It develops the characters in a terrific way. And maintains a steady level of consistency throughout its 62 episodes is not a joke... And the dedication of Bryan Cranston Having french beard style and Shaved head most of the time and also Jesse transformation is can't described in words.

  • Friends

    3.Friends

Friends is one of the greatest and best sitcoms of all time. Friends is about the lives of six unique adults who overcome different adventures and experiences which makes their lives both troublesome and entertaining. Jennifer Aniston portrays Rachel Green, Courteney Cox portrays Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow portrays Phoebe Buffay, David Schwimmer portrays Ross Geller, Matt Leblanc portrays Joey Tribbiani, and Mathew Perry portrays Chandler Bing. This show coincidentally takes place in Manhattan, New York. The main premise of this show depicts the bond and lives of all six outgoing characters as they indulge in difficult situations and find their own pathways in life. In the beginning, Rachel Green ran off on Barry's wedding and chose to live with her friend, Monica where she formed a closer bond with the other characters. At the time, the six characters were quite clueless in their lives and constantly relied on each other for relationships and career issues.

  • Prison Break

    4.Prison Break

This is one hell of a show ! for the first time some series got me to this place and i wanted to give a review so bad! All the characters are spot on , the way they have acted and how the story elevated each character giving them a specific identity of their own , its emotional and mainly kudos to the character (T-bag) one would fall for this villain or what do i say a hero ? a mad guy that one . Scofield’s character runs the show and not to forget Lincoln burrows . This sibling duo would make you wanna have such hero-ish and ride or die bond in ones life !theres friendship, war,Love, fight and theres sacrifice ! i would recommend this show to each and every person out there ! story line is predictable yet keeps you going guys !

  • Squid Game

    5.Squid Game

Some of the most popular and innocent children's games in the 1970's and 1980's South Korea (played in the alleys) get reinvented (modern day) as a mysterious survival game with a 45.6 billion won cash prize for the winner. There's a catch however: losers must pay... with their lives! As a group of 456 financially desperate people voluntarily risk their lives for the penultimate prize by participating in six twisted games Squid Game, in the words of writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk, is a dark and macabre take on 'modern capitalism' that depicts extreme competition while still being able to incorporate emotional, dramatic & theatrical aspect to the tale.

  • Money Heist

    6.Money Heist

The money heist is without a shadow of a doubt EPIC, my expectations were quite reserved when I chose to watch it on Netflix. I was utterly intoxicated by the acting, the genius storyline as I revered in enormous admiration at series 1, 2, 3 & 4 but I couldn’t have predicted how amazing the final series would be, the writer, director and producer of this masterpiece excelled beyond all expectations. Every single actor was cast with undeniable talent and each one really had their own personality throughout the series, they carried their character magnificently.

  • witcher

    7.witcher

Henry Cavill is Huge Jacksons Wolverine , he was born and bred for this specific role. My first worry was the voice acting on Geralt , as soon as Henry opened his mouth I was glued , darn well good job , His total character creation is superb in every aspect from the books to the games. 100% Ciri , Yennafer and Trish brilliant actresses for the role , at first I thought their looks are different , Ciri being a bit younger , Yennafers past is definitely interesting and the outcome of how she turned out 100% , Trish now this one I'm wondering when the red hair will come through lol , besides odd changes I enjoyed the outcome of their characters. Dandylion , the one and only , his first entry was hilarious and his small adventure with the lone wolf was outstanding , another 100% character spot on , hope to see more of him and his fool hardiness.

  • The Big Bang Theory

    8.The Big Bang Theory

I watched each & every season & episode. Believe me, when I was watching 12th season the last episode I actually cried out soo loud. My tears didn't stop. I felt like I lost someone I adore and someone so close to me. Never felt this feeling for any other TV series before. Still, my heart asked for more episodes. Why JIM you wanted to quit 😭 This show made me realised how friendship is important in our lives and how to hang together whatever happens. Friendship is so beautiful. Also, this show is beautifully written by the team. All characters are developed at the end of the show. Sheldon becomes a person who can understand others feelings in some way. Leonard becomes a confident person. Penny becomes a successful strong woman. Amy comes out of the shell and understands her and others well. Howard becomes creepy to an honourable person. Raj improves his self-confidence. Bernie becomes a successful and strong caring woman.

  • How I Met Your Mother

    9.How I Met Your Mother

Good laugh for late twenty-somethings I've enjoyed the first few episodes of this post "Friends" comedy. It really captures some of the humorous albeit awkward situations that late twenty-somethings are finding themselves in these days. Alyson Hannigan once again presents her hilarious, quirky sense of style and humor. Along with her boyfriend, Marshall, they are an excellent representation of the couple who are trying to figure out an identity in the "not still partying like college kids, but trying not to be all grown up" stage of life. The lead character, Ted, provides great entertainment. Audiences will be drawn in by his sensitivity and likability. He's not desperate to get married, but merely ready to find the One, tired of game playing. Overall, I think this is a half-hour well spent.

  • Narcos

    10.Narcos

This is an excellent drama that provides a mature distinct look towards recent history (that remains intensely relevant today as the results of this are still ongoing) while remaining entertaining and staying true to the general events, despite some moments being simplified for the purpose of story telling and drama. This show is very engaging and respectful to its source material, even at points choosing narrate directly to the audience about real events (such as the death of agent Kiki camerania). This manages not to feel disconnected as the narration between episodes is used throughout and the discussed events quickly link back to the plot. Narcos also manages to avoid the pitfalls of other shows on the same subject by choosing not to glorify the actions of the cartels or police force;showing bad actions as bad and vice versa while choosing to give humanity to the characters and providing motives to there actions giving the story a far more rich and three dimensional quality. Somthing i appreciate about the show is with every decision a character makes, the show makes a point to show the consequences of that choice, an example being when the president choices to not negotiate with the narcos they soon seek reperations via kidnappings .The first two series repeatedly empithise the idea that good and bad are relative concepts .

  • Sherlock

    11.Sherlock

As close to perfect as any T.V show has come so far, the cast of which has been as good as itself. Never before, has the cast of any show been this good for the roles. It's as if they were meant to play them. If you enjoy thrill, action or comedy, well, you'll get all of them. The level of drama is just right and the plot lines are such that even if you've read the books, you shall not know how the story will turn out. So far, only 13 episodes have been released but each is at least 1 hour and 20 minutes long and is definitely worth your time. More than any other show in the world.

  • Stranger Things

    12.Stranger Things

Oh lord have mercy, he has blessed this Earth and Netflix the greatest show of all time!!!! It is such an amazing show in so many ways!!! It’s for those who love comedy, monsters, 80’s references, a thrill, and good 80’s music as well. Ever since watching this show it’s given me so much to think about and I now want to live in the 80s and start playing Dungeons and Dragons it just seems like a more simple time and the show really gives that experience to the audience. At first when the first season came out in 2016 I was unsure and I’m not into scary stuff....but Stranger Things proved me wrong and now I’m addicted! The first season is more on the creepy side, the second season is a little bit more frightening, and the third season is just a mixture of the two to almost a terrifying level. The cast is fantastic and the interaction between them all just makes u forget the peril and scary stuff happening around them.

  • Vikings

    13.Vikings

I think nothing has impressed me like the first three seasons of this show since Hannibal, the relationship between Athelstan and Ragnar is one of the best things i've ever seen in a series, and of course this is just my humble opinion you can interpret it how you like, but i found their love (not sexual or romantic like some say) special, gentle and pure, it was so beautiful and refreshing actually to see. (Props to King Ecbert too he was a great character and i loved his relationship with Athelstan as well) The story is brilliant, some of the actors do a seriously amazing job of making us enjoy and support the characters they portray to name a few Lagertha and Floki both strong and interesting.

  • Walking Dead

    14.The Walking Dead

I love The Walking Dead. I've been watching it since it first came out and watched all episodes immediately when they were available. People complain that it got worst but I always loved it. It had amazing and captivating characters from the start and I really miss lots of them, but some of my favorite ones are still around, so I am super happy still following it. Most of the villains were super well developed too (even one of them becoming my favorite character :P) Sad it is on its last season, but I am looking forward to watching the whole thing again after it ends. Hoping that dear couple comes back soon! I just caught up with Fear The Walking Dead (which I didn't think was good initially, but now I am also completely hooked) and started World Beyond now (understand its cancellation, all main characters were a bit annoying).

  • Dark

    15.Dark

Dark is different from any other Time-travel movie or series it takes time as an element which nothing has used before like it. the creators did a excellent job of storytelling and keeping the plot together and shocking us every episode. The plot of the series is quite complicated but if you have watched it entirely then to there will be some details that you have missed .Its one of the rare series that makes you completely lose your mind and doesnot let to stop thinking about the things you saw all in all the show lacks some humour as there are many adult plot points invloved but not to say as the show lives upto its name as its dark in many ways. The creators decided to make a trilogy but as it is after the end of the 2nd season there are many burning questions left which the fans need to get answers but till then the first two seasons are worth watching. personally i would recommend to watch it in its original german version but will say that the english dub is good you can go for it if subtitles are not your thing or you don't know german. This show takes time travel to a new dimension and explores in a unique and bold way which will keep you coming for more.

  • Mandalorian

    16.The Mandalorian

This is not what everyone is used to, due to the new movies in the Star Wars Universe which have been mostly all out of direction and all over the place, to say the least! Those movies were good and bad in their own ways, but if one goes back to where it all started and begins to watch the Original three Movies of Star Wars (leaving out all the new movies) and then watches The Mandalorian, you will begin to see what makes The Mandalorian unequivocally Brilliant and original just like those first three Star Wars movies in the franchise. There is a lot of new ways for the franchise to move now with The Mandalorian and it has that magical feel that the originals had when I first seen them and even though it's not a box office hit of a movie, it is a hit of a TV Show with some very very smart moves and very smart decisions that where made to make it as good as it is! I'm not in any way comparing them with each other, but I am trying to let people see the simplicity of the similarities between the old trilogy and the new, The Mandalorian. This is what Star Wars is, this is the fibre of what Star Wars is about and it runs smoothly and seemlessly like the new movies should have been.

  • chernobyl

    17.chernobyl

I have to say this show has me enticed and gripped in cast, storyline and atmosphere. Brilliantly portrayed from an obviously unsettling incident. Not many series has me gripped, only gravitate towards series that sturs something inside, like Game of Thrones, Breaking bad, Sons of Anarchy, Vikings. I put this is in that catergory, as those shows because it has such a powerful storyline and it grips onto that fascination deep inside. It leaves you so gripped that you long to find out what happens in next episode. Love the atmospheric soundtrack by the way. To cover one point made as a criticism by others..i think its perfect how it is..yes the actors have a strong English accent..but i think you would find if those cast members tried desperately hard to put on a russian accent there would be even thicker criticism. I am going to highly recommend this to family and friends, as they know i will always recommend epic shows. An amazing series i think deserves high praise for brilliance

  • house of cards

    18.house of cards

One of the Netflix Original shows which story is based on Frank underwood, a cunning dishonest manipulator tyrant politician believes in "Haunt or be Haunted". He only wants to be in power and to sustain it he can go beyond law, beyond humanity, beyond conscience and beyond every limit who says "if you don't like table is set then turn over the table". His story starts as a whip and got deceived by The new elected president, not to be chosen as "The secretary of State" then he started his journey to become "The President of United State of America" with his wife Claire underwood who is also ambitious lady and works as a team with her husband. His journey shows many aspects of politics like ruthless politics, masquerade politicians, their camoflauge nature and importantly "Give and Take Policy". Perfectly acted by Kevin Spacey and connects himself with audience that is also impressive. Perfect story, perfect acting. Ultimate show ever.

  • Black Mirror

    19.Black Mirror

Black Mirror, what can say except that words don't describe how good this series is. I must admit I slept on this show at first and thought it was trash but for some reason I watched it and really got blown away by the White Christmas episode as it reminded me a bit about Inception. I literally clapped my hands all alone after the Nosedive episode which I regard as the best episode in the whole series followed by White Christmas IMO. As I said at the beginning, I really cannot come up with the words to describe Black Mirror and the only way to get it is to simply watch the show and don't get put off by season one as it's a bit slow but gets interesting the more you watch. The best sci-fi series I've watched since Fringe.

  • Dexter

    20.Dexter

Dexter is the best Tv show ive ever seen truly,it has you on the edge of your seat almost the entire time every season there is a new challenge, ive watched it aleast 15 times becasue its Just amazing and i really recommend it, Michael c hall acting was amazing, such a good partial of the character, i do think it went on to long thought after season 5 its way more laid back its all kinda character development but there is no need for it season 8 was kinda a thriller and prob the most depressing endings ever. I do think that the writers should do a season 9 and an accually ending. the offical ending just leaves you wanting more and ending are supposed to make you feel satisfied. Over all fully recomend also its veen like for 6 months sencei finished it and still cant get over its so sad cant make myself rewatch the ending i just can't, left me depressed for days even weeks.

  • Sopranos

    21.The Sopranos

The greatest show of all time. I watched this after watching some of the most remarkable shows of the 21st century like BB and GoT, and I can say that The Sopranos stands tall above all. Being a mob boss and a family man, how Tony Soprano manages his life, makes us hate and empathize with him at the same time. His sessions with Dr. Melfi are gold. The great acting, screenplay, and writing cannot be praised enough as the show is known for ushering in a new era of TV. The music of the show adds another layer to the depth of the whole storytelling process. The songs are so very well picked that you won't be able to hold yourself from searching them on the internet and saving to your library.

  • The Wire

    22.The Wire

People will rave about The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, GoT, Mad Men, Rome... and all of those are excellent shows. But The Wire is storytelling on a whole other level. The writing, directing, acting in this show is superb. And the stories it tells are deep, complex and interwoven so as to create a whole other layer of abstract characterization no other show has even attempted to do. Each season doesn't just drive the plot forward, it adds a new perspective, a new layer through which we understand the characters and the city they live in.

  • True Detective

    23.True Detective

True Detective series are the best TV drama to date. The show captures you and draws you in each week. Nic Pizzolatto's uncanny and talented blend of actors and chemistry is like no other. Season 3 is full of the best acting and continues to define True Detective caliber taste. Mahershala Ali (Wayne) and Stephen Dorff (Roland) are spot on with superb interaction, episode 5 ("If you have Ghosts") final scene of reunited 2015 between Roland and Wayne is as good as it gets on any cinema platform. Along with Scoot McNairy and Carmen Ejogo supporting energy this series is a must see. Pizzolatto's ability to change pace and transfer of flashback references grabs your attention and forces you to stay on track. True Detective is a gem in a sea of precious stones that outshines them all.

  • Peaky Blinders

    24.Peaky Blinders

The most Manliest series i ever watched.Such a great fan of thomas shelby. I would like to point out that Tommy's love interest, Grace, and their entire relationship, gives you an overall perspective of what is "classy british romance" at it's finest. As oldschool as it gets, this series has everything from thrill, to crime, to drama, to sorrow, to opening up your mind, on a whole new level. Peaky Blinders stands out from the other Gangster series, because there is something soothing and peaceful about it. The cinematography is so amazing, it keeps you interested and on the edge, the entire time. It is beautiful because crime and killings is not the only thing, it shows. It also shows top class drama, making it all the more interesting. It's totally a "feel good" series. I feel so glad I watched Peaky Bliders, and after watching so many light American sitcoms and series, when you watch something as intense and as British as this, it's going to actually connect with you, and cause you to think, opening up new perspectives. It's not one of those series you watch to have a good time, have fun and forget it the next day. It's like you actually connect to the characters and feel what they are feeling. It keeps you in the deep. The story's going to stay with you forever. Moving forward, for those who are into British accents, and British style of living, you guys will fall in love with how well knitted and beautiful the storyline, the accents, the plot and the screenplay is. Everything is British about it. Everything. That is one of the biggest factors that contributes in making Peaky Blinders, watchable, time and again, making you binge watch the entire series. Do watch it guys, it is totally worth it.

  • Westworld

    25.Westworld

What to say about this show.Another masterpiece from THE NOLANS.Content of this show is very cerebral and the story presented in a beautiful manner. Science Fiction was not one of the genre which is I not liked by the masses but after seeing this show, your opinion will surely change. Starting from the first episode itself only this show will give you the chills and force you the binge watch the season in 1 sitting because of its gripping storyline. Talking about the cinematography ,shot in locations which gives an aura of scenic beauty that can't be missed.Music and background score is all the main attention of this show where no dialogue but a simple background tune can set the tone of the scene very well. Beauty of this is that an interpretation for a particular is open ended where a person can have his own perception how he perceived the scene.
