The Firefox Fusion D 29, like its 26” and 27.5” models is built on a full Steel frame. It might be a bit surprising to see a Steel frame instead of a Alloy on a MTB at this price but being an Urban MTB the weight difference will not affect riding efficiency. The frame geometry and build makes this bicycle capable of doing some rigorous riding on flat trails and on the worst of urban roads. Being a hardtail the Fusion D 29 comes with a Zoom entry-level suspension fork with a minimal 50mm travel. This minimal travel was nevertheless smooth in operation.
